Client: European Commission – Executive Agency for Culture, Education and Audiovisual (EACEA)

Location: remote and Paris

24 assignments completed between 2014 and 2022 including 18 shorter country-level ones

 

The EACEA implements DG EAC* public policies, unlocking a large number of interregional cooperations in Europe and beyond.

 

Inecko* scored funding proposals and wrote summary reports based on 20-30 criteria and sub-criteria. We attended consolidation meetings with a fellow evaluator, wrote summary report (‘consensus reports’), on one occasion controlled their quality for the entire evaluation round. These reports are directly sent to proponents and must adhere to strict guidelines.

 

Specifically, we have:

• Assessed funding requests related to education, skills, support to civil society: EUR 1-18M envelope per call, 10-15% selection rate, EUR 30-300k budgets, 1-3 years projects

• Evaluated 216 applications, reached consensus with fellow evaluators, remotely for centralised rounds and at the French Ministry of Education for national ones,

• Wrote 145 consensus reports complying with the Commission requirements

• Quality checked the 54 reports of one of the sessions, in line with the same requirements
