About
Inecko is a consultancy that combines strategy consulting and local economic development, as to support and scale green and circular economy. We are guided by short- and long-term value creation and by the necessary imbrication of projects within local contexts.
Inecko offers the combination of these two competencies to provide:
-
Commercial and economic strategy
-
Local uptake and execution
-
Impact measurement
-
Local/regional economic development
Working with all types of public or private organisations we:
-
Model costs, revenue and profitability for green and circular economy projects, assess and size target markets, provide strategic advisory
-
We harness local ecosystems, secure local adoption, provide operational advisory, initiate and ensure execution stage, assess feasibility and local acceptability
-
Quantify and interpret local outcomes securing local support and overcoming potential reluctancies, maximise these gains in the short and long term
-
Deliver local/regional economic development strategies that are both practical and structural, based on existing capacities
Whilst our realisations contribute to immediate job and revenue creation, they also aim at embedding value addition locally and in the long run. We therefore spur structural local economic development drivers: innovation capacities, skills, cooperations and knowledge transfers.
We catalyse collaborations based on concrete products, focusing on their quality and intensity. We also foster unexpected connections, as to develop unique and sought-after know-hows.
Lastly, we see green-digital transition value chains largely interdependent, forming techno-economic ‘megatrends’. Aligning with these unlocks economic and commercial gains while contributing to them.

Who we are

Inecko's founder Aurélien Leblay holds more than 10 years experience in socioeconomic development as a project manager, analyst or consultant. He focused on local economic development, EU programmes design and management, African SMEs and ecosystems, and of course on green and circular economy and the green-digital transition. He also worked for London strategy consultancies (LEK, Kaiser Associates), helping companies and executives to make pertinent and soundly-backed decisions.
He founded Inecko in 2019 (ex. Leblay Consulting), in order to promote green local economic development and highlight the impact of green economy at local level. Fascinated by the systemic and

technological dimension of the green-digital transition, he engages on these topics and on green finance through opinion papers for national or European media (La Tribune, Euractiv). He is familiar with civil society and chaired a mobility and training organisation during four years (Hors Pistes).
Aurelien holds a degree from Sciences Po Aix (Public Policy section) and the London School of Economics (MSc Local Economic Development). He is also an external expert for the EU commission (27 missions completed since 2014), regarding economic development, SMEs support, or research and innovation programmes.
